Dog Bleeding form genitals/smells
My moms 10 year old German Sheppard recently started to bleed lightly. We noticed that the blood comes form his genital area (penis). Only a few drops come out at a time. We only notice it when he gets up and walks from one area to another. He doesn't seem to be in pain. He also smells a lot. So much, that we have to keep him outside or the rooms will reek! Does anyone know what these 2 symptoms could mean/are they related? Please help.

Could be one nasty infection or any number of other things. Your vet would know best.

This could be anything from a bladder infection to cancer.
I suggest people do what they would do if THEY were experiencing unusual bleeding from any orifice, and get medical help immediately. |

I agree with everyone else. Medical attention is needed ASAP.
