I noticed the other day that my cat had a small irritation on her bottom. I would say it is about the size of a rain drop and just slightly pink but not red. She has not stopped eating, drinking, or using the restroom so I am wondering if this is something that happens with most cats? I know a cats toungue is quite rough and could that be the reason her buttocks is sore....from her licking it? Should I take her to the vet even though she is in no distress at all?
