Child logic
True story:
My friend's great nephew was walking with his grandpa on his grandpa's ranch. This old fella is a huge bird-lover/bird watcher. He also shoots cats. His little grandson asked him why he shoots the cats and his grandpa replied "Well, there are birds in these trees, and even nests with babies. The cats kill them unnecessarily- they don't even eat them, so it's not because they need the food". The little guy thought for a moment and then asked "So how many cats have you eaten?" |

Love it! I remember a boss I worked for that was talking about teaching his son about gun safety and hunting. He told his son he had to eat whatever he killed. First time out, his son shot a blackbird. He made him cook it and eat it!
