Question Whole Clove Garlic

Is that bad to have in a cat food? i read somewhere recently.. that garlic was toxic to dogs & cats? Although i would find it strange if that were true a company would use it in their dry food?

It's in this dry food from Fromms one of their 4 star menus, the duck a la veg

Too much is toxic. A little is ok... And since it's wayyyy at the bottom of the ingredient list, it's very little.
