Hi - I'm new to this board
I'm a true animal lover. I have 4 cats, a cockatiel, an indoor fish tank with 7 fancy goldies and an outdoor pond with 9 koi. We've just had our dog put down, he was a 10.5 year old keeshond who had a large tumor on his liver. It was heartbreaking to lose him. We're looking for another keeshond, maybe 2 puppies this time.

Very sorry for your loss. I recently met 2 Keeshonds - I have an American Eskimo - and they got along very well. So often other Spitz breeds don't care for my guy, but the Keeshonds are definitely the most easy going of the breed. Gorgeous colouring as well - so much easier to keep clean, particularly when pup loves the mud. Personally, I would never even consider having 2 Eskies, but perhaps the Keeshond personality would better adapt.

Welcome to the forum. So sorry for your loss .....it is indeed a very hard thing to go through.

We'd love to see pics of the rest of your pets and, of course, your new puppies when you get them.

I somehow missed this thread when you first posted. I did manage to catch your "Looks like I'll be getting a puppy..." thread, though.

Yogi was a very handsome boy. He had such a beautiful luxurious coat! I'm so sorry for your loss It's such a difficult thing to go through.

Your cats look like sweethearts. How do you think they'll take to having one, possibly two, rambunctious puppies to play with? Never a dull moment, eh?
