Unhappy peeing on the post

Thanks for all your advice on the mouthing things are getting better with that. but.... This morning after taking Koda out in the morning to pee as usual, he trots downstairs and lifts his leg to pee on the post in the basement. I couldn't believe it. I had caught him red handed. I told him a stearn "no" and then took him outside. I know that male dogs like to mark their territory. He is also not neutered from what we can tell. He is going to the vet next week. Any suggestions ?

Hi,

I have no idea why he would be doing this, but there is a spray you can buy at pet stores. I was having trouble with my puppy peeing in spots that he had used before. When you spray the stuff on the area they lose interest. It can also be sprayed on things that you don't want the dog chewing or mouthing. (it does not stain or discolor fabrics)

What is the name of this spray? We will be getting a puppy soon, and I think I'd like to check it out!
