tail chasing

My 7 month old Golden chases her tail quite often. Is this a bad thing? She has done it ever since we got her. I try to stop her when she does, and either give her something else to do, or just talk to her and give her attention/affection.

Chasing her tail isn't a bad thing. It's just something that dogs do sometimes. It's a common thing. But distracting her with something else is a good idea. If she starts doing it, take her outside for a walk, or play with her... anything to distract her from tail chasing!
