Charlie and Cashew

These two are oldies but goodies! Both are 10 yrs old, a male and a female. The poor darlings have had a rough go; Their owner tied them up outside on one of the coldest days of the year and went inside and took his own life. So that makes these two orphans. We got them from the SPCA as they were going to be euthanized. They have super temperments and still like to play! They just need a warm bed and lots of love, and an angel who's willing to take in some seniors. They really deserve a happy ending. If anyone is interested in two bed warmers, please email me at crystal@breederoo.com . or visit our website for more photos and info, Boxer Rescue Quebec http://www.boxerrescuequebec.com

This is too sad for words. Those poor old darlings!

Do you have a Petfinder site? If not, I'll list them.

I fixed the pic so you can see both their sweet faces better.

I just wanted to say that over the summer, these two wonderful oldies were adopted together by a SUPER couple. They now live the high life in a beautiful home outside of Ottawa. Here's what their new family had to say:
"Hi Crystal Things are going well with the babies. They have settled in very well. In fact they are more settled than Karin and I since we still have a ton of boxes to unpack. Cashew has really bonded with me. Where ever I am she is. Charlie is more attached to Karin. The vet visit went very well. He said that they were in great shape. He also thinks Cashew is only about 6 years old. Charlie' is in great shape also, the vet's comment "I am relieved to see how healthy they are. When you told me you were getting 10 year old boxers, I was concerned. They are not like the typical 10 year olds I have seen in the past." The funniest thing is that they have taken over one of the upstairs rooms. In fact Cashew thinks that the futon in that room is really her bed. It seems to be the only piece of furniture she jumps up on. They are so well behaved and mindful, that we love having them around. They got to meet some of our friends on Saturday, and our friends comments were that they seemed to have always lived with us. Charlie and Cashew say hi ...... "
