10 1/2 month puppy with cysts

Hey guys and gals, so Poor harley has more medical problems. He will be getting neutered in 8 days, and at the same time there are going to take a look at 2 cysts that have started to grow on his head. One popped, which the vet said was a good sign. I do not know what to expect. he is so young. At the same time as everything he will be getting xrayed for hips and elbows, just prelims. But I have to say I am really worried about the cysts. I thought he is way too young to get them

The wait is the worst part, still 9 more days, then waiting the results. Pure torture. Someone told me that sometimes males get them from too much testosterone. Is this correct, or another myth

I found this:
Quote:
High doses of steroids can cause cysts and tumors to develop on these two organs.
(two organs being the kidneys and liver)
Oh, ya, testosterone is a steroid- in case you didn't know (I don't want to sound nuts.. )

Otherwise all I found were cysts caused by tapeworms.

Superficial cysts are nothing more than a well imbedded pimple or dog zit...I found 3 on Ciara last week. The first time I found one on her when she was a puppy I was in panic mode....I should've known better too. Dogs get 'em, some breeds more than others. In my opinion Boxer's are the worse, second is Rotties...then Labs. Big dog lumps and bumps. Zit's and lypomas.

All need to be watched but hey...My mom told me I would not have another pimple once I reached 25 yrs old and she lied....I am still trying to deal with that lie.
