Lab Mixed with what??

I am looking for advice from you dog experts....or atlease know more than me! Winston's mom is a AKC 100% pure breed black lab and parents were as well. However one day another dog met with Winston's mommy and created Winston and Tucker! My grand parents have Tucker.... They look like twins only Winston's left toe is white and Tucker's right toe is white! I will attach some pictures.... I have been told by a vet that their heads look like a or jack russel terrier(sp?) My neighbor and mother in law is worried its pitbul... frankly I don't care if it is pitbul... he is a sweet dog and were keeping him no matter what!

When I first saw the picture, my first thought was Pit bull. It's hard to tell though. What a pretty sweety!
