Who did we buy this YELLOW sofa for, anyway?

The new sofa seems to fit Jemma, Boo and a human, just not too comfortably. Sometimes I wonder if we should have gotten a different color if it was going to become a doggy sofa. I don't have a clue how he can sleep like that...

The doggies have their own bleddy futon. They sleep on it all day and I guess come night time, they want a change of scenery...

Jemma has several beds, including ours. She usually ends up on a human lap anyway. She thinks she's a cat...

Looks like you need a new huge black couch!!!!

Yeah I don't know how he can sleep like that either, my husband does the same thing every night, clothes, shoes, doesn't matter... maybe it's a male thing????

Haha...I see human had to learn to sleep sitting up.

Black dogs and yellow sofa - you ARE a sucker for punishment, aren't you?

I love the look in Jemma's eyes. It's almost like she's saying: "mom, don't just stand there - HELP ME!"

Prin, I don't think the colour makes a difference, I have 2 black and 2 black and white cats, so I bought a very very dark green couch.......and there are goober marks EVERYWHERE!! (looks like the trails snails/slugs leave behind)....
So I am forever washing up slobber marks! (and yes all my cats slobber when they sleep......didn't know that until I bought the dark green couch though )

If that were my couch, it would be covered in blankets! How about a close-up pic of the couch?? Would we see black hair woven into the cushions??

Poor Jemma! I think she should have her own couch!

I have to clean the couch every month or so. Really scrub it top to bottom. We have a fleece on the bottom because the paw prints were killing me.

To think people bring their pets to the SPCA for the hair showing on furniture and I did it to myself! I'm surprised my dogs didn't bring me to the SPCH for buying a sofa that didn't match them.

His hands must be cold? By the way, the slobber doesn't show as much on the yellow but from certain angles it's shiny..

He does that all the time... in bed too, he slowly lets his elbows down as he falls asleep and then jerks them back up when it wakes him... it's pretty funny.

What mix?

What is the other half of Boo (if he's part newf)? I also have to fight for room on my couch - at least I did with Lacey. She always thought she should have the most room, so I got one little corner and she got the rest!

We think he's mixed with pointer. He's got the newf fur but short and he's got the pointer ears. Newf personality though. Newf tail. Pointer stubbornness... Newf saggy eyelids. Newf dewclaws... Pointer pointing. Newf swimming technique. He's not very protective at all... He' a very beautiful guy and I tried to find out for sure what he was but there don't seem to be enough resources for Mutt genotyping...

Here is Jemma, cozy and crabby on her futon (it's actually Boo's but since we donated our old pillows, she rather likes it now). There is a nice dip in it now... She's so shiny on the solid gold.

You feed Wolf King? Where do you buy it?
Whatever you're feeding them, you're doing something right...they're both so shiny! They look like they've been spit-shined!

I actually treck out to Dollard for it (woofers on sources-- they have almost every "more natural" food you can find) but "le croque en bol" has it too, and they have a few stores around Montreal.

I thought they were shiny before but now they're crazy shiny. I can't wait to see them when their full summer coat comes in (that coat is the shiniest). It's fun having black dogs- they probably would shine a bit anyway if they were on the crappiest food around.
