Seems kinda strange that "Mea is currently at a veterinary clinic for assessment". You would think they could have found her a new home by now, and that she would be in good condition. Maybe she's just there getting vaccines.
 I'm glad to see justice being brought to abusive owners.

Sometimes I can't help but laugh at the sentences dealt to abusers. It just doesn't seem fair that someone can seriously injure or even kill an animal and only get a month in jail.
Eye for an eye... that may make me sound sadistic... but some people have no respect at all for animals. How better to learn than if you have to endure what they did.
