Samoyed health issues not sure if allergies or infection
My 2 year old samoyed has been squinting his eyes and shedding a lot more. For a couple days he seemed like he was getting better then this morning his nose appeared dry and cracked. He is eating, drinking and acting normal. Any advice?

There could be a thyroid issue, or allergies. This breed is also susceptible to zinc deficiency, though that has to be addressed carefully.

My first thought is what kind of dish is he using? Many of the plastic ones can cause irritations and switching to a good ceramic or stainless steel dish is a good start. Keep it clean.
After that, I echo the previous posters: try getting him vet checked for allergies, thyroid, vitamin deficiency. Good Luck.
