Panting dog
I have an 8 years old Pom/Terrier mix. The last month or so she seems to be panting a lot more than usual and it hasn't even been warm out. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is a sign of anything else or if I should be worried about it at all?

Panting can be a sign of pain. It can be a sign of laboured breathing such as brought on by congestive heart failure. Those are my only two experiences but I bet there are more. I'd be asking my Vet for an appointment.

Pain is number one, but also neurological distress will make them pant too. Panting is a sign of general distress (outside of temperature).
