If you have just eaten don't read this

With all the cats that are dependent on me for food - I think I'm at 12 help! -I try to feed them a decent kibble (Eaglepack or equivalent) and then canned morning and night (a spoonful of Friskies). The Friskies has always bothered me and even more so now, read on...
Yesterday I found a bug in a small can of Friskies chicken, I'm talking about a small black worm about an inch long and very alive. And I had bought a case of 24 cans! The salespeople at Mondou were dumbstruck, then they carefully retaped the foil over the can in question many more times than was strictly necessary and refunded my money.
I probably could have sued for damages, plus pain and suffering...
I'm beginning to think that feeding Orijen exclusively, or a similar grain-free product, with some raw chicken thrown down from time to time, may be the way to go.
Otherwise, I'll be looking closely in every can, forever. And what about the crap we can't see?
