Scary fireworks!
Oscar is scared of fireworks. We went for a walk around 7:30 or so on Canada Day but people were setting some off here and there in their yards and poor Oscar was terrified, so we decided to watch some movies in the basement until they were all over.

I was getting popcorn and hubby had his back turned for a couple of minutes grabbing the laundry while everybody got settled... so Oscar snuggled with his big sis for comfort. (Notice that we had put a blankie for him on the footstool, figuring he might like to snuggle up on his blanket... but he found a better spot!).

TM,that is just adorableand I agree,every child should grow up loving an animal,be it dogs/cats or whatever,maybe they'll be more compassionate as grownups.
