Exclamation HELP Puddles coughing?????

I am just going to hand over my paycheck to my vet this month!

Last night as I was going to bed Puddles started coughing/sneezing/hairball sounds. It lasted until about midnight (3hours) on and off.

Has anybody ever had this in their cat?? She was woken up by Jasper and she started coughing again about 4AM, nothing this morning. She did this a couple of times on Thurs, but only for a second so I thought it was a furball. She is not eating or playing as much, but of course with this heat that is normal for her anyway.

I am taking this video to the vet, no doubt she won't cough for him

Mmmmm, no answer. I know TT was doing that the other day. Kind of a huffing? I phoned the vet and they seemed to think I was overreacting. Not the vet, his receptionist. He hasn't done it since.
Good Luck at the vets! Hopefully it's just a hairball that doesn't want to come up.
I know about handing over the pay cheque. Just did that.

Thats what I thought on Thurs night too, but last night it went on and on. She was walking while she was doing this too, not in the crouched down position.

It seems almost like she's trying to swallow something, kinda a gagging cough that starts in her throat. Maybe a hairball? Do you have any hairball remedy stuff (or maybe some butter or olive oil would work) to see if that helps? Or some grass she can chew on? Poor Puddles. What a cutie, by the way. Hope whatever it is gets resolved soon.

No I don't, sugarcatmom, that is what my co worker, who is a cat lover and has three, thought, it seems like she is trying to cough something up.

I am currently at work and will call the vet office when it opens. I really want her lungs and breathing check, just in case she picked up something.

She is a huge grass eater, sometimes I think she is part bunny and has access to grass every day.
