Cat - Montreal to Buffalo

Looking for transportation for a cat (with carrier) from Montreal to Buffalo, Erie (even Pittsburgh). The owner is a student (non-driver) and was not able to take her cat with her. Her sister, who took the cat in, was told by her landlady the cat had to be out this week. The cat may have temporary home ( not sure yet). SPCA and euthanasia are definitely NOT an option. Apparently Greyhound and Amtrak do not take cats.

Please e-mail info@gerdysrescue.org and we will put you in touch. A donation will be made towards the cost of gas.

I think via might take cats and they go as far as Erie Ontario.

Temporary home found, transportation no longer required.

The situation has been resolved. The cat's owner, who lives in Pittsburgh, has found a temporary (could turn into a permanent home) for now. Thank you to the person in Hamilton who volunteered to drive one leg of the journey from Toronto.
Understanding their past, believing in their future, accepting them today just the way they are.

Keep in mind that the new ferry is in service between Toronto and Rochester as an option. Pets are not allowed on deck with passengers, but there are kennel facilities
