overdue intro
Hi folks
I've been a bit of a lurk-poster for quite a while now and I figured it was past time I introduced myself :P My partner and I run a positive dog training business as well as a small breed daycare in Southern Ontario. We share our home with many furry beast (some not so furry but the most relevant are as follows: Tod A 3 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix from a pound in rural Iowa. He has exponentially increased my empathy and fondness for little dogs (I must confess I was a little prejudiced before we adopted him). Moro Moro was living feral before being picked up in backwoods Ohio. She came to us with a few badly healed broken ribs and a serious distrust of men or any gesture made over her body. She has come a very long way in the two years we have had her Our best guess of her lineage is Shiba Inu/Malinois or working-line shepherd. She has many of the characteristics of an asian spitz but is the highest drive dog I have ever met. and finally Moss (the border folly) He's grown a bit since then We adopted him by accident a little before christmas this year. Someone left him at a garden center absolutely full of worms :S All we went in for was a strip of fence * sigh * He goes by several aliases: Moss the Sauce (it is an ironic nickname, he is in no way saucy) and, for the unfortunate ingestion of an unknown irritating substance, "Puke-ahontas." |
