downward dog is hysterical...what do they think they will find under all that snow?????

My 14.5 yr old also turns into a puppy at the first sign of snow...loves doing her "signature" snow angels

What a riot.

I think she thinks she hears things under the snow. I do know that when she was a pup, her first winter I took her out back and it's like a field at the back of my property, she got all freaky and poof under she went and came up with a mole in her mouth. The mole got away and she spent a good hour chasing it through the snow. Plus I taught her the "find it" game and all I have to say is "find it" and does the ostrich.....LOL.

Now at 4 years old, she still needs to do the jump and dive ( I wish I was quick enough to catch the jump on camera....it is hilarious, she cocks her head, goes all goofy in the ears and then launchs herself) Even when we are out on our walks, if she thinks she heard something in the snowbank she is head first, waist deep hunting. She uses her head as a snowplow. I wonder if she keeps her eyes open when she bomb dives in??? See how she got her nickname Boo-bie.

Nice pictures DCH!! You can tell how happy Zoe is to be out in the deep stuff. Umm, keep it there though, ok. I really don't want any this year. Nope, none at all.
Love the mole story!

That's adorable how she's buried her head in the snow.

Thanks for the compliments.

I have to say that Zoe brings a whole different side to winter.........don't mind walking in a raging blizzard with her, all the laughing at the silly things she does keeps you warm enough until you get home.

I can see that Zoe doesn't like snow--hence she's learned the levitation trick!

What a hoot! Does her head always disappear like that when she finally touches the ground?

Great pics, dogcatharmony!!

downward facing dog? that is so funny!

I had a pekanese/pug that use to put his head under the snow then run. He looked like a short furry groundhog......
