I am wondering what kind of regulations are required for pet stores to transport, buy and sell pets across provinces.
Any reglations would help regarding this. I am just looking to see if many pet stores actually follow these regulations or frequently cut corners.

IMHO, I would fall over dead from shock if petstores actually obeyed the minimum regulations (but then I live in the "land of the puppy mills"

Unfortunately, there's nothing that I know of. I can help you with exports but that's about it as far as federal regulations for pets. The Animal Health Regulations of the CFIA that deal with animal transport are geared towards animals for food production.

From Province to Province? Excuse my ignorance but I didn't even think there was regulations!! except from Canada to US or visa versa
