Worms?
How do you know if your dog has worms?
What do they look like (I know as dumb as that sounds) but seriously! Is it also likely you get worms if your dog has them?

Ringworm is quite easy to contract from an animal but that is a skin condition that is quite hard to get rid of. There are other other types too but I am not that well informed. I would think Roundworm and Tapeworm are the most common. |

Also there are parasites to consider that are only detected under microscope.

Thanks !! I think i'll just keep an eye on it. They're both normal dogs with fine appetites and not uncomfortable or scratching their bummies! We'll see. We have another appointment in 4 weeks

Different types of worms require different meds. Tapeworms are treated with something different than what's used on hookworms, for instance. So if you see another one (gross as this sounds) try to collect the stool with the worm and get it into your vet within 24 hours. That way they'll know exactly what type of meds to prescribe!
