Hi hunnybunny,
I'm no expert but I don't think its likely....epilepsy is often caused by something else. My cat, Peaches, has epilepsy and my vet determined it was probably caused by some sort of head trauma from being abused. I would assume that if what your breeder is suggesting were true, it would affect humans as well. My dad has had epilepsy for over 20 years but there is no family history of it whatsoever. Hope that helps!

I have no experience with epilepsy but have read that food that uses rosemary as a preservative will trigger seizures in pets.
