Nursing home for old dogs

Hi guys!

I don't know if you'll agree with me, but this is such a bad idea! can you imagine.. a nursing home for dogs?! the dogs have loved you unconditionally and just because they are old, you chuck them in a nursing home?! poor old dogs. this is sad and makes me angry too!

I think it's way better than people dumping their older dogs at shelters where they get put down after only a few days because most people don't want to adopt older dogs !

I agree with Frenchy, even better if they would take seniors from the shelters too, but someone has to pay for their care so I guess they won't. :sad:

I was dropping off some catfood @ my local SPCA today & there's a 18 yr old S/F cat there, she's absolutely gorgeous very friendly her family moved & couldn't take her w/them - I couldn't adopt her because they feel she's not good w/other cats :sad:
