Very interesting thread... These days, my husband and I are thinking about starting a family -- hopefully giving birth some time next year. His friends think that means we will have to get rid of Casey !!! They can't fathom having a pet and a baby at the same time. They mention his hair and noise, but he is a poodle and doesn't shed, and only barks when he is protecting our home. I wonder what they'd think about your situation, Heeler's Rock! I might bring that up next time they start pressuring us to get rid of Casey once we get pregnant!

BTW, super huge congratulations to you!!! When are you due?
