as far as I know for FIP u can only test the presence of FcoV and if it s in higher taxes it's indicate FIP....there's also a protein/globulin test in blood that if high it indicated fip and also albumin test
Recently I heard about an other kind of test made by a doctor named Dr. KEVIN STEELE he does the Elisa-7B-FIP test and also the PCR-7B-FIP test
The 7B refers to a gene that occurs in FIP but not in the regular enteric corona from which it mutates.
I'm not sure about the accuracy of this information....I tried research for this doctor but had no much result......
I understand your point and I think it's very cruel criticize someone who loves animals and is obligated to euthanize a baby,I never intend to do it,I just sayd about it because it's a extremely painful decision and unfortunately I already lived this drama....so if the animal could avoid it and we could avoit this terrible decision it would be better for everybody!
