The banks were crazy in the beginning but then we went to Scotia Bank and no problem. The others just have problems with the way a log home is built like the house is to be framed then you get a pay out, with a log home there is no framing its just the logs. We are doing the line of credit thing too, it is so much easier but we keep this until we turn it into a mortgage.
We are not moved in yet they are doing the drywalling today and the furnace guy and electrician have to get in and finish hooking everything up, so hopefully soon.
