Well I know that our SPCA does ask.

They ask how many and how old.

They have everything about the dog on their computer. The dogs likes, dislikes.

A family had their eye on a Shepherd/Lab mix...But it broke their heart that this dog was not good around children. The parents tried to talk the SPCA into letting them adopt him.The woman at the SPCA said that they don't work that way.If they know a dog is not good with children, they will not adopt the dog out to them,as they would never put a child in that situation.

I love our SPCA..They are just amazing.
