It's hard to tell - NV's response (verbatim in my post above) is informative but vague at the same time and I am not really sure how to interpret what they said.
I don't know what they mean by "waiting for the paperwork to process" (are they currently going through the compliance process? Or formalising the withdrawal of certain products?) - while in the next sentence they said they will "no longer be able to import beef products" which sounds pretty final. But maybe they meant that while their compliance is in process, beef imports are suspended. Who knows. I might e-mail them again this evening.
I don't feed my Himmies a lot of beef products at all, but the NV Prairie stew is a favourite treat of theirs and I'd hate to be unable to give it to them anymore. I also worry that somehow this is the tip of the iceberg.
