Don't worry,I don't think you are being rude.
Unfortunately these are one of the many hazzards to leaving a dog out all day when no one is home.The other things that could happen is a dog can be poisoned,or stolen.
Many of us on here work all day.But our dogs stay in the house.I am not trying to be rude,but can I ask why she wasn't able to stay in the house while everyone was working?
