yes it requires a vet visit, i had a little something like this on my older min pin, put some polisporn on it, it took a while with me playing with it, it looked like a pimple, but was a in grown hair and she was at the vet it took almost 1 yr before the nasty little hair finally came out, but if i were you go get it checked.. asap better to be careful brenda and the pins,, good luck
