Talking The "How to heat a doghouse properly" thread

Hey there,
The hubbie and I are just in the process of drawing up designs for a new doghouse for our pooch, Ringo
We decided originally to heat the doghouse with a 60 watt bulb, but even that seemed a little risky. We have been exploring heating options ever since and have decided upon adding a metal housing to hold a small ceramic heater on a timer with a thermostat that will turn on and off to heat the doghouse accordingly. We wanted to house it next to the doghouse and pipe in hot air to reduce the risk of fires, accidents, ect. Any thoughts?
