Im actually very surprised that it doesnt have a light.
Ive never encountered a heater without a light before.
Both of my Visitherm heaters have lights.

You can reach in and touch it, it wont zap you,
just be careful they can get quite hot to the touch.

Keep a close eye on it, and if you see it go up to much,
turn it down one click.
Only adjust up or down one click at a time, and wait for a couple hours in between to see what temp it gets to.
