If there is something wrong with the plastic bowl, the longer the water sits in it and the warmer the water, the higher the chance of contamination...
That's a good possibility. We give him fresh water every couple of hours usually. He drinks alot, so it doesn't sit long, but it was very hot out today and I was out for a few hours. We have gotten him a new bowl now, a glass bowl. I'm going to take the bowl and have it tested. If it is indeed the bowl we can at least let the pet store know. And ty
