I let people pet Molly, she is great with kids and women but can be unsure of certain men, so I always keep a close eye on her in new situations. I do get peeved when people pet without asking, or when parents let their kids run right up to her. It's a great way to "socialize" her- I try to bring her to parks and the town beach often to help her learn her manners while out in public.
