already eaten a bone
About a week ago we gave Primo a veal bone from our dinner plates. I did not know that bones are not good for him until reading pets.ca. I grew up with 3 dogs and my dad always gave bones to the dogs. So I thought it was okay. Primo has been fine, very playful and happy until yesterday.
He tore apart a stuffed squeaky toy we got him. I am afraid he might have eaten some of the stuffing from the toy or that the bones are starting to cause trouble. He is hardly eating or drinking, certainly not as much as usual. His stool is not normal either. It is very runny and partly brown but mostly black.
Is this normal in 3 year old, not yet fixed, male dalmation dogs.
please advise.
