Ok, I think I've narrowed it down. It's either going to be Solid Gold - Just a Wee Bit (if I can find it) or Nutro - Ultra or Max Mini Chunk.
I cannot even BELIEVE how tough this is.
I think the Nutro will probably be a lot more affordable than the Solid Gold. The Max Mini Chunk, which is a small breed formula, seems to have a lot of wheat in it. Here are the first five: Chicken Meal, Wheat Flour, Ground Whole Wheat, Rice Bran, Poultry Fat. Don't know how I much I'm liking that list.
Ultra adult is: Chicken Meal, Whole Brown Rice, Ground Rice, Lamb Meal, Rice Bran, Sunflower Oil. I think I like that better. The protein is the same, but Mini Chunk has higher fat. Could I just even it out by feeding on the high range for her weight?
My Dad is an agrologist and works in animal feeds, so I'm going to talk to him about the foods and see what he thinks.
Any comments or concerns from you experts? I appreciate all the help I can get! This is tough.
