my girl is a bit of a dominator (GSD X), but is desexed and she is very social. i dont allow her to be near undesexed females, i find that there tends to be really bad fights between her and the other female. but she hasnt gotten along with all desexed females either, she just doesnt like some dogs personalities i think, but she gets along better with the desexed femal dogs. but she was great friends with a desexed female 13yo cockerspanial who was little compared to charlie but the cockerspanial was the top dog. funny but if the femal dog is older, doesnt matter what size, she seems to let them dominate, if they are younger she dominates. and if it a male, forget it, she is top dog doesnt matter who they are (she is a bit of a feminist i think)..she is a right cow to the boys yet they seem to have less fights overall than any other. hmmmm.
