I guess you can infer with your experience is that it's not dogs who need training as much as some owners. Kudos to you for wanting to make it work it out
but remember it's a two-way street. Missy has to meet you halfway if you're going to be successful....both with the dogs
and in your relationship. You can't go wrong by sitting down with her full attention and telling her what your expectations are and what you're willing to do to make it work. Then ask her to commit to doing her share as well and have her outline what she
is willing to do,
consistently.
