Just because the rawhide is minced doesn't mean it won't expand in the stomach. Rawhide, is rawhide, no matter the size of the pieces. So if that part of it is a worry, I wouldn't offer minced rawhide, either.
I'm not sure minced rawhide would be much good for cleaning teeth, anyway. In our experience it breaks apart too easily so there's very little 'scrubbing' action on the teeth before the pieces are swallowed.
