What breed & how old?
Some breeds are very prone to fatty tumors (Goldens, Beagles...) and I believe a needle aspiration is pretty accurate. They are not uncommon in older dogs; I've had elderly dogs get them. I'd be more concerned if it was a young dog, were she mine, not terribly concerned with older dogs.
Also they can feel different depending where they're located & how deep. My old GSDx had a huge one on her side, but it was under a layer of muscle & felt very different to another she had on her neck.

But if it makes you more comfortable, by all means get another, just to ease your mind!
