Actually the book is only 13 years old. Published in 1990, it says. I got it at a book drop off for some people with a hyper Golden Retriever. I started reading it, and knew certainly I wouldn't give it to them. I can't honestly know why anyone would read it. And here is another example of the book: The author said that he once had a dog who was built like a jeep, and could absorb as much pounding as a jeep too!!
The guy repeatedly pounded and whiped the dog until I assume the dog got too scared to do the wrong thing he had been doing.
And he also said that he had a very eager to please dog, but she needed to be hit with a newspaper because she was "bad"!
CRUELTY!!!!!
