OTC Flea Treatment: ABC News report

The ABC Nightly News last night (5/28) had a report regarding potential hazards of over-the-counter topical flea treatment products. Apparently, there has been a dramatic increase in pet poisonings over the last couple of years. Just wanted to share:

The consensus by the "industry" producing the product is "user error". The report did not seem to include vet-prescribed topicals such as Advantix or Frontline.

This may be just more information to further confuse pet owners, but I wanted to share in case it could help others. I don't take stories presented by the US media as gospel, but I do think there may be more to this story.
