well the thing is, he does not pee on anything else, not the kids beds, not the couch...just our bed!!!! I threw out the mattress pad since this am and put a clean new one on the bed along with new sheets and closed the door. I did all this just in case the smell was attracting him. Anyway, my 9 year old went into my room and left the door open and.....you guessed it....he went on the bed. My new sheets and pad are in the washer as we speak. Where can I get a spray deterent to try on the bed that will work but wont make my sheets smell bad for us? I have NO intentions of telling him about this last incident as I dont know the cat would make it through the night!!
