Oshawa to Brampton is 45 minutes, not 2 hours. And sunderland to brampton is probably about an hour, or less because it's faster because it's more north. I drove it once in a hour (and I don't drive above the speed limit).
I guess it depends on what route you take though. If you can get over to the 400 south after getting south of lake simcoe, brampton is about 20 minutes from the 400 and finch.
