At 7 wks, he's going to be very susceptible to dehydration if he's both vomiting and having diarrhea. I think it's worth at least a call to the vet, if not an appt. It's possible it's the food, but there are so many serious things that cause diarrhea and vomiting that I'd want to get him checked out by a vet asap.
Make sure he's getting lots of water in the meanwhile. Dehydration can be fatal in small pups.
