Sorry it's taken me so long to get back (my internet suddenly decided to crash), but, yes, March does everything outside and only seems to do anything in the house when we leave him alone, out of his kennel.

My husband is military and is deployed right now, but he's usually gone more than the rest of us anyway, since he works a lot, so I wouldn't think that would be it.

When we originally trained him, we used the crating method (I guess that's what it's called). We would take him out every 2 hours or so (no more than 3 when he's out of his kennel), and keep him in his kennel when we weren't home or in bed. This seemed to work very well until the last few months.

We started to just kennel him when he does something he shouldn't -- sort of like a "time out" -- for about 15 or 20 minutes, and that seems to be working for the now. Hopefully, it will work and this behavior will stop altogether. Thanks for trying to help me out, and thanks for posting back, I really appreciate it!
