Hazel,,, try right clicking on your IE logo on your comp, a box thingy comes up (yeah i know technical term eh) any, go to the bottome of box thingy, click on properties..another box will open will, general,security, blah blah, one will say compatibility..... click that one...there is a little box that says " run this program in compatibility mode for"..... you want to set it for windows xp (service pack2). that should help with some of your problems..
