Have you tried starting with rubbing a finger and/or gently scratching along the
underside of their chins? That's how I had to start with one of mine....it's pawsitively irresistible! After a while, I started adding in a gentle rub
on the side of the mouth, then a little farther "north"
along the lip line etc....a graduated progression into the mouth.
