This is the first guinea pig we've ever had, so I'm still learning. When we first got her she got scabs in her fur. When we switched to a different bedding. All the scabs went away, but now she has horribly dry skin on her back. It really bothers her. If we itch it for her she goes into a spasm and freezes up. It's got to be painful. I took her to the vet, but we live in a rural area, and I don't think she sees many guinea pigs. She thought maybe mites, but we've been giving her this medicine for 3 weeks now, and there has been no change.:sad: Am I doing something wrong? I don't know if it could be an allergy or something. What other things do you think I should try?
